Tiffany & Co. is here for engagement ring shopping season as much as we are. Just in time for cuffing engagement season—yes, your social media feed is about to get flooded with a lot of “I said yes,” posts—Tiffany & Co. has debuted a fabulous new diamond cut, and it’s sure to be come another icon, just like the Tiffany® Setting. Introducing the Tiffany True setting—a modern take on a classic that’s destined for greatness.

The classic Tiffany® Setting engagement ring has a new friend. The storied brand’s latest engagement collection offering introduces the Tiffany True ring—a modern take on the classic cut that emphasizes a minimal aesthetic and architectural design.

Tiffany & Co.’s chief artistic officer, Reed Krakoff, echoes the modern sensibility of the new style. “Tiffany has symbolized the ultimate in love and commitment since 1886 with the invention of the original Tiffany® Setting. Now, the launch of Tiffany True with its unique setting and expert cut, we are introducing a supreme expression of modern love.”

The new cut exposes the diamond’s true beauty (hence the name!), showcasing more of the diamond’s main facet and exposing the stone to more light—a.k.a. a brighter shine! In fact, the whole design of the ring aims to show off the diamond’s purity—from the prongs that blend into the diamond, to the delicate band reflecting light in such a way that showcases the diamond’s shine, to the subtle “T” engraved on the band itself. And you can rest easy, as is the case with all of Tiffany & Co.’s diamond—the True cut is environmentally and ethically sourced.

Available in a platinum band with a colorless True-cut diamond, and an 18K yellow gold band with a yellow cushion-cut diamond, the Tiffany True will hit stores this fall in North America and worldwide in 2019.
